Who’s Running the Fundraiser and Previous Fundraising Efforts for Muhammad’s Family in Palestine

Lindsay from the UK has become a friend of the family, initially being connected by providing e-sims to Muhammad, so he and his family could communicate with the outside world and other people trapped in Gaza. She raised £1,320 for Muhammad and The Sameer Project by walking 42km in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where she lives (more info on the Marathon Walk for Palestine here and fund transfer proof).

All donations from the current fundraiser will be used directly to purchase essential supplies for the Al-Harazin family. As with the previous marathon fundraiser, we ensure full transparency by providing receipts for every transfer on request. Lindsay and Emily (team mate on the Chuffed.org fundraiser) have full documentation of all transfers, and we’re happy to share them with anyone who wants to verify where the funds are going.

Why Your Support Matters: Gaza in Crisis

The situation in Gaza is dire, and Muhammad’s family is in urgent need of humanitarian aid. The ongoing conflict has resulted in massive displacement, with families like Muhammad’s forced to live in extremely harsh conditions. The cost of basic food essentials has skyrocketed, making survival in Gaza nearly impossible.

Urgent Humanitarian Aid Needs:

• Food: Prices for basic staples like flour and rice are prohibitively high.
• Water: Clean drinking water is scarce and contaminated.
• Shelter: Muhammad and his family live in a temporary nylon tent, exposed to extreme temperatures and flooding.
• Medical Aid: Basic medical supplies are needed to address illness and injury.
